BioI'm a Junior in college, there doing my best to figure myself out, and above all attempting to keep my head clear and above water in a rather conflicting society. I am an English major, if you can't tell by that one sentence alone... and yes sometimes I wonder how far that will get me in life. But I don't care-- writing is what I love. And in the end, it probably is more fulfilling to spend your life doing what you love, than what just assures you a comfy lifestyle.
I also have a minor in Women's and Gender studies, and am very interested in having a career involving the Feminist movement, preferably in publishing.
To end: I'm a Cancer, my favorite band is Staind, favorite author Stephen King and my favorite tv show is Sex and the City-- and above all, I am an acquired taste. I don't get along with everyone due to it, but I do my best to stay fair even with the people I do not mesh with.
*Btw my journal title is actually originally from a Mark Twain quote: Good friends, good books and a sleepy conscience: this is the ideal life. I changed it a bit to fit my life though lol.
